Auditorium Brief
The initial brief was for a flexible black-box space which could meet the needs of contemporary theatre performance but also operate as a gallery space and potentially as an events space.
The programme will include a mixture of traditional theatre, physical theatre and dance with an aspiration to also stage immersive work in the room. It is anticipated that for the first year or two the venue will receive existing productions, but in time they will develop their own work with their in-house artists.
